Susan Morrison lives in Ottawa with her husband. They have five children and three grandchildren. All have received Montessori education.

Experience

     Susan has over 25 years of Montessori teaching experience at both Infancy and Casa levels.  In 1999, she established a Toddler Community at a Montessori school in Ottawa.

     She founded the first Montessori school in Halifax, NS, in 1975.

     In 2001, she initiated "Ninos a Ninos", an international program to bring educational materials to impoverished children in Argentina.

Susan has a life-long interest in young children and their development.  She believes that education starts from birth and that setting up a home environment in a manner suitable for the child will bring enormous benefits to the whole family.
